Powys County Council Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Unit helps employers to make safer recruitment decisions. A number of roles, especially those involving children or vulnerable adults, are eligible for a disclosure and barring check.
Powys County Council DBS Unit is a dedicated and experienced team based in Llandrindod Wells. We can process and monitor DBS applications and provide support and advice when needed. Our service is fast, friendly and efficient. We aim to minimise the number of incorrectly completed forms sent to the DBS, thereby speeding up all parts of the service which are in our control.
Our aim is to help protect children and vulnerable adults by providing a first-class service to support organisations recruiting people into positions of trust.
Powys County Council DBS Unit is able to process your DBS checks regardless of the size of your organisation. The DBS Unit can process a DBS form for small organistations or a large organisation employing hundreds of staff.
